Time to change lives!

Sonlight match deadline extended! Online gifts made by 9 a.m. EST on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 will be doubled by Sonlight Curriculum.

Gifts sent in the mail must still be postmarked by November 21, 2008 to be eligible for the Sonlight match.

Wow! We can't think of a better word to describe how blown away our staff is by your generosity and passion for reaching India's illiterate women. The flood of support is inspiring!

We have to tell you, this Rice Bag Project is evidence that God can do "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20). In September, we were thrilled to have over 3,000 Sonlight families sign up to participate...and so far, gifts from over 1,000 families have helped raise over $98,000 toward our $100,000 goal!

And we realize there are some of you that still want to give your gift (or perhaps even want to squeeze in another last-minute gift)!

That's why we are so thankful that Sarita and John Holzmann have graciously agreed to extend the online deadline for matching your gifts!

You can give an online gift that will make twice the difference through the Sonlight match!

Every gift will make a difference. Your nickels, dimes, and quarters... added to the loose change of thousands of Sonlight students... a loving gift that we know God will use "more than all we ask or imagine."

All mail gifts postmarked by November 21, 2008 will be eligible for the Sonlight match.

Every $30 reaches another woman in India like Meenaben. After being doubled by the Sonlight match, that would mean reaching 2 women in India...transforming their families and even their entire communities!

Did you miss a week or two of activities? Need a little extra time to finish up the material? You will have full access to our entire archive of activities until December 15, 2008! We hope this will allow your family to move through the material at your own pace.

Cristen in New York shared:

"While rolling his coins for this project, my six year old son understood the importance of what he was doing. He said "Mommy, I am being a missionary right now!" I am thankful to Sonlight for their excellent curriculum and for this opportunity to help Mission India's literacy program. I pray God will bless many lives through this project. He has already blessed ours!"

Great job, Elizabeth and Markus! Read more stories from Sonlighters.
