Children's Bible Clubs are underway in India!

Life seemed hopeless before Selvi joined a Children's Bible Club.
10-day Clubs are in full-swing right now, and lives are being transformed!

Volunteers across India are dedicating two weeks to full-time ministry through Children's Bible Clubs, reaching into their own communities to touch the lives of young people like Selvi.

At ten years old, Selvi had already discovered that life in India offers her little hope for joy.

Her parents are garbage pickers. They can't afford to send her to school. Instead, Selvi does all the household work, and spends any free time collecting sticks for firewood. Her family lives in a small hut made of mud and clay.

Just a few weeks ago, Selvi joined a Children's Bible Club. On the first day, this is what she told her volunteer club leader:

"I don't think I'm lucky enough to become a great person. I fear that I will always be a garbage picker, just like my parents."

Selvi was captivated by the Bible stories and praise songs.

But by the end of the 10-day Children's Bible Club, Selvi had discovered that her future is not hopeless - that Jesus offers her freedom and joy beyond what she could ever imagine.

During the 10-day Club, Selvi enjoyed worship songs and Bible stories, and learned how to pray to Jesus. Her caring volunteer teachers also taught her good manners and the importance of cleanliness, and encouraged her to practice her reading and writing.

Her parents were overjoyed to see the smiles on their little girl's face as Selvi came skipping home each day from the club. They are curious to know more about Jesus and the hope He offers.

You can help reach another child like Selvi

Each $1 you give allows another boy or girl to take part in a Children's Bible Club. $40 provides a club for 40 children!

Now Selvi knows the joy and hope that Jesus offers!
Selvi and the other children discovered the power of answered prayer.
