Week 7
Welcome to Week 7 of the Rice Bag Project! Are your Rice Bags overflowing with coins? It's time to start counting your change...and start changing lives! Whether you're doing the Rice Bag Project as a family or a group, gather everyone's change this week and see how you've done! As soon as you're ready, you can go to our website and give an online gift in the amount of the change you have collected. You'll also find information about how to make a donation through the mail. Every dollar you give will be doubled by the Sonlight Rice Bag Project matching fund, up to $100,000! Gifts must be received by November 21, 2008 to be matched. |

Do you know the story about Jesus washing the feet of His disciples? Sangita and I read this story together, in John 13. She explained that just like Jesus served others, she and her husband are serving the people in our village. She teaches the literacy class and he is a pastor, leading our small church and visiting nearby homes and villages to share the Gospel. I pray that other people will look at me differently because I love Jesus, just like I could see something different about Sangita and her husband... |
