Equipping Church Planters

India's Christians are passionate about sharing the Gospel in their communities. But most lack the tools and training to effectively reach their nation. Mission India assists these men and women through our Church Planter Training program.

Church Planters complete two years of combined classroom training and supervised fieldwork. During this time they share the Gospel and establish new worship communities. Church Planters often open doors to communities through Adult Literacy and Children's Bible Clubs.

Mission India screens and approves applicants, provides materials in 13 Indian languages, supervises the classroom instruction and fieldwork, and requires Church Planters to submit progress reports every six months during their training.

Each Church Planter is supplied with:

• 1,200 evangelistic Bible study booklets
• 100 in-depth Scripture books
• 50 New Testaments
• 25 Bibles
• Textbooks on church planting
• Children's Bible Club materials (200 children)
• Literacy class materials (30 adults)
• 1 heavy-duty bicycle for travel
