God is using literacy to transform individuals, families, and entire communities in India. Adult Literacy Classes:

• Provide a fifth-grade education in reading, writing, and math
• Promote good nutrition, sanitation & hygiene
• Raise awareness of basic rights, fair wages, and responsibilities as citizens
• Encourage newly literate parents to send children to school
• Teach entrepreneurial skills to increase family income
• Open doors in communities resistant to the Gospel
• Share joy in Jesus and offer new hope for the future
• Build Bible-literate worshipping groups
