India Program Director

Mission India, an International faith-based nonprofit organization, has a new position as Program Director focusing on India operations and services, based in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. The position collaborates with the VP of India Ministries.

Responsibilities include analyzing and making recommendations for both systems and program design to improve consistency in implementation, accurate reporting and simplicity in reproduction. It also includes direct involvement in decentralizing the India organizational structure through involvement with multiple boards with independent yet linked infrastructures to carry out the ministries of Mission India. Analysis and development of a talent sourcing strategy and staffing plan that supports the projected future needs of the Ministry in India are also a priority. The India Program Manager will host tour groups to India and travel, as necessary, to carry out those responsibilities.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering and at least 5 years consultative business process design or analysis experience for multiple companies or a larger company with independent subsidiaries. Experience with LEAN, TQM, or Six Sigma and appreciation of cross cultural differences is strongly preferred.

Critical attributes for this position includes a commitment to the Great Commission, demonstrated ability to listen, process and apply critical thinking. Strong written and verbal skills are required. Candidates must be Christian, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and agree to Mission India’s Statement of Faith.
